No Special Interests.

One of the biggest complaints about today’s Socialism is it’s lack of uniform treatment and judgment of individual’s interests. We hear those on the conservative right complaining of the socialistic governmental regulatory control of business and industry and of how special interests lobby for preferential treatment under the law.

While every society has some kind of formal authoritative order (aka socialism) it is the uniform treatment of individuals under law that distinguishes a republic from fascism.

Elastic Republic ensures that it’s individual citizens will have their individual sovereignty at a rate defined by the length of the republic’s term. If they choose, each individual can delegate some of it through market exchange. This sovereignty reversion acts like income insurance for every citizen.
